Students at Kindy City International Preschool just have experienced diverse Integrated Activities in the topic theme “TREES STUDY” – as a part of our comprehensive development program, which helps students reinforce and establish knowledge, and at the same time nurture the interest and excitement towards upcoming activities in the same topic.
On the “learn-through-play” festivity in this October, Kindy City students were free to use their imagination in making crafts such as using tree sticks or twigs to paint through the activity “Branch Painting”. At the “Leaf Art” booth, students used leaves and twigs to make portraits of themselves as much alike as possible. Besides, thanks to the Leaf Identification activity, students were able to sharpen their Math concepts upon geometry and pattern skill.
Meanwhile, on that day, Kindy City students had a chance to strengthen team spirit for effective collaboration and teamwork through Shape Classification and The Drawing Tree.
In particular, Kindy Citizens also greatly benefited from the science experiment “Mini Inquiry: Are Trees Alive?” in terms of observational, deduction and classification skills. Students got to learn about living and non-living things through science activities.
After all, the “Integrated Activities” series within the topic theme “Trees Study” brought Kindy Citizens outside the classroom to get closer to the natural environment with trees and plants- the heart of beautiful mother nature.
