In the natural and comfortable learning spirit of “Learn through Play”, learning content which is based on child’s areas of development – learning is linked and comprised of 10 Topics at Kindy City International Preschool, with the “Ball Study” being one of those topics. In mid-October, the school organized various indoor and outdoor activities around this topic. This was called the “Balls Party” where the students created lovely balls with special materials or spent time outdoors on different ball activities. In addition, students and teachers had an exciting time (Happy Time) at Hoang Van Thu Park and Tao Dan Cultural Park, that aimed to summarize much of what they had learnt.
Games such as “Clean up your room”, “Around the clock”, “Parachute”, “Amazing races”, “Water balloon toss” and “Mr. Bear your honey’s not there,” were played and in addition to this, the students practiced gross motor skills through launching, throwing, catching, kicking and rolling ball activities. The games also required that the children apply some skills in Math, Technology and Arts in order to win the race.
