Applying the method “Learn through Play”, the children, Vietnamese and expat teachers of Kindy City International Preschool had an exciting journey with many activities to Tiniworld to experience play on a different environment.
With the guidance of teachers, students able to play various games at the Board Games area. They simultaneously developed coordination skills using their hands, legs, eyes and senses at Juno Playland & Sand box area. Through movement, teachers creatively guided the kids to practice the lessons from class in the fun and colorful space of Tiniworld. Thereby, we can create excitement for the children in many activities of learning in class later.
Children always have a dream of becoming an adult. Therefore, role-play activities attract them in the Career-Orientation Corner. While girls dressed up as Actresses, Models and Doctors, the boys could not miss the opportunity to become a fireman or police officer … The role-play activities not only help teachers capture their dreams and their aspirations, but also is an opportunity to encourage children to express their thoughts, comments and personal feelings in the process of interaction with friends, whilst teachers view students in their role-playing activities.
At the end of their day of exploration, the children left Tiniworld with joy, pleasure and excitement and left the kids wanting to continue to participate in extra-curricular programs with the school. In mid-May, Kindy City will continue to organize outdoor lessons for the children to visit Tour Les Jour as a real experience in baking processes, sales space and the activities taking place at a bakery to form the initial perception of what is happening in daily life. That activity is also an extended form of the lessons of “Cake” took place earlier in the class – one of the themes of learning in the Creative Curriculum program that schools are applying.

TEAM TEACHING: Throughout the year both English and Vietnamese teachers teach the same topic, this gives the students a chance to re-enforce their ideas and concepts in both English and Vietnamese.
