“Tet is coming. I’m so happy and glad. I dress up in new clothes and exchange New year’s wishes to relatives… Tet Tet Tet has arrived…”…These are two of the tracks which are performed by the students of Kindy City International Preschool System during the Spring Fair 2016 Multifaceted Development Project.

The Spring Fair 2016 Project is organized by Kindy City International Preschool System to help the students use various skills to take part in the folk games in Tet.
The children will discover more about apricot and peach blossom trees in Tet through many activities such as drawing and decorating “Tet Trees” and being able to bring them back as small presents to their families.
Coloring suitable for each part of trees, pasting the flowers into the trees correctly and kneading clay pieces to create many green leaves are some of the activities. They also use their imagination to create the “Tet Trees” especially.
The children will hear of the legend of Banh Chung Banh Day. They will be instructed on how to wrap the cake so that they could eventually make the cake by themselves. These activities will make children feel that Tet atmosphere is coming, helping them to understand clearly the signification of Chung cake in Tet.

Toy figurines (To He) are a kind of folk toy for children. The main ingredients to make it are Rice Flour and Sticky Rice Flour. First, these two ingredients need to be mixed together. Then the mixture is soaked in water and pureed by being boiled. Finally, it is kneaded by hand into different shapes with many colors.

Children combine the flexibility of their feet, the conjoining of hands and have vision in a limited space when they wear Unicorn Dance Costume and try performing it.
