In the theme of CLOTHES STUDY this week, the students at Kindy City International Preschool were sated with pleasure to design clothes with a lot of cute shapes and brilliant colors.
They learnt about the origin of the material of silk in the previous lesson and got familiar with the technique of knitting to practice skills of clever hands. The little residents then had a chance to experience acrylic dying techniques this week. Interestingly, these cute designers will freely create color printing and drawing or break the old order with different colors on their products. Particularly, in weekly integrated activities called “Happy Time”, “Kindy City’s Next Top Model” is the highlight. This provides the kids with happy memories of modeling fashionable handmade outfits with their friends.
Clothes Study has come to an end, the students improved their knowledge in distinguishing between the material and the function of each type of clothing with a new aesthetic perspective of clothes.
