During the month of May, Kindy City International Preschool organized a project, BREAD STUDY, with a series of activities “Little Cake-Baker”, for all of our current children.
“Little Cake-Baker” activity series help children to develop basic math skills about size, shape, measurement and counting. We did this through biscuits making , children use real materials like eggs, powder, sugar, milk, butter and baking soda. The children used various tools such as spoons, bowls, molds, etc. to explore the scientific notion of changing the state of material under heat to make muffins, sugar-biscuits… We especially exposed their creativeness when making pudding with activities like “PUDDING FINGER PAINT”.
Through those kinds of activities, children will expand their vocabulary in cooking, interoperability with varied games for purpose of cultivating words such as “the ginger bread man,” “dice” and connecting with the song “I’m a baker”.
With the BREAD STUDY project, kids will have interesting experiments with stories about their first culinary creations.
Parents are welcome to wait for these exciting activities from teachers and children of Kindy City International Preschool.
