As desired by the school from the beginning, “the children will become more energetic, active and creative after 10 weeks”, playing is the best time for children to learn, absorb and form skills for learning and life. With the “Scavenger Hunt” last week, children needed to have thinking skills such as stimulating thinking, they also needed to unite, share and respect each other which helped their groups accomplish the purposes of the activity. Those values are not only taught in the lessons, but are also used outside in everyday experiences.
Colorful eggs were painted by the children themselves and teachers scattered them in the garden. Children hunted for the eggs to find their “treasure”.
