KINDY CITY KINDERGARTEN SCHOOL OFFICIALLY COMING INTO WORK

HCM City, Jan. 20^th, 2015

KINDY CITY Kindergarten School was licensed to establish on the 28^th of November, 2014, under the decision 162/QĐ – UBND by People’s Committee of Ward 3, operated under the control of The Department of Education of District 3, Department of Education and Training, HCMC. The school officially admitted students on January 20, 2015 at 68 Trần Quốc Thảo ( also 173 Võ Thị Sáu, District 3) with a developing and learning curriculum for children aged 3-5.

Curriculum information:

The content and method to train students at KINDY CITY are based on the foundation of the Kindergarten Curriculum of Ministry of Education and Training and the CREATIVE CURRICULUM of Teaching Strategies, America. Based on the teaching requirements and developing capacity assessments for children aged 3-5, the School applies teaching principles and classroom operation conditions according to the Creative Curriculum System which is widely used in America and other developing countries. At each grade level, the content of learning – developing cultural knowledge and social skills includes the following aspects:

1. Love – Society
2. Constitution
3. Language
4. Awareness
5. Reading and Writing Ability
6. Maths Capacity
7. Knowledge of Science – Technology
8. Social awareness
9. Creative ability through art
10. English capacity

In order to help students perceive and practice effectively, the school has implemented 10 LEARNING AND DEVELOPING ASPECTS through integrating two curriculums. The teaching methods from this will be used thoroughly to help the child reach his/her full potential. This method of teaching is effective as the children “LEARN THROUGH PLAY”.

Learning at KINDY CITY, students will be ensured of:

• Exposure to a friendly learning environment as well as the quality of good care taking.
• Access to practical life by “Learning Through Play”.
• Growth in Knowledge and Character.

Developing character:

With a message of LOVE – “ L.O.V.E – Live Our Most Cherished Values Everyday), Kindy City not only applies the 6 LIFE VALUES (Respect, Reliability, Responsibility, Justice, Care and Citizen Awareness) to the 10 developing and learning aspects  but also develops all activities in the learning environment following the implementation method TEAM (T.E.A.M – Teach, Enforce, Advocate, Model).

Besides the standard of educational operation, the child’s safety is also an important factor prioritized by the School.

Conditions to optimizing care.

The facilities and the school equipment meet the regulations of safety and undergo regular checks from the organization in charge. The School also equips safe wooden chairs, toys and learning materials meeting the European standard.

The process of taking care of the child is strongly observed, ensuring maximum safety. The child’s health is frequently checked and supervised by the teachers, nurses and managers. The staff strictly follows this process and takes care to effectively hand over shifts.
