What can children do with their old white shirts? Can they manage to fold and hang the clothes by themselves? And what is more, will “preparing for a Fashion Show” be beyond the capability of a preschooler?
If students got to practice their physical strength and flexibility, promote a teamwork spirit with Balls Study, here with “Creative Clothes Study”, they will step into a whole different world – a realm of costumes.
The project aims at combining scientific and social areas of development related to costumes. Students will then get used to the notion of numbers, materials, colors, sizes and functions of different clothing items. Children will also be able to recognize the uniforms of specific occupations.
More importantly, children will enhance their fine motor skills while cutting and pasting, decorating beautiful hats and masks, creating the posters for the Fashion Show and they will also have a chance to strengthen their social and artistic skills at SuperHero Fashion.
The highlight of the day will be the clothes drive, where children wholeheartedly fold their secondhand clothes for the needy. This activity is expected to help students understand the value of sharing.
It is without a doubt that parents will achieve loads of fun interacting with the children in the activities of Clothes Study.
