Pets can help children get many skills in life such as accountability, more confidence and also a great friend.
For many children, pets are loyal friends and play with us every day. Children can also learn from them some virtues such as loyalty, awareness of duty, responsibility and love.
Feeding indoor pets also contributes to enhance the sense of responsibility and ownership for children. They will acquire a lot of meaningful lessons about life and also raise awareness of respect for nature and animals.
When taking care of pets, children can develop social and interaction skills, thereby, they can form positive relationships with everyone around them as well as have the opportunity to show their love, endearment and loyalty.
Kindy City International Preschool will host multifaceted development project “Our Little Friends” continuously for 3 weeks in March, which will help children develop cognitive and social emotion for pets through the chain of activities such as: visiting a store and getting acquainted with a variety of pets; learning about food, habitat and why some pets often live in shelters. Specifically, the children will learn how to protect and care for pets through decorating basket, simultaneously, improve fine motor skills as well as aesthetics.
Let’s wait and see what this exciting activity of Kindy City International Preschool will be!
