These days, with the advanced technology new appliances have been created to meet humans’ constant demand. Therefore, many items are put away in the corners and become refuse in the house.
However, those unwanted items of one person may turn into useful materials for others and at times, we can discover interesting things from recycled pieces. So the question is how can we recycle effectively to make stuff that is either eye-catching or cheap and usable?
3R – Reuse, Reduce and Recycle project is a part of the Social Emotion, Creativity, Science and Character Development program at Kindy City International Preschool. It aims at teaching kids to identify different recyclable materials, such as cardboard boxes, plastic bottles, newspaper, plastic bags, or aluminum cans; kids also get to make toys and crafts out of these materials.
More importantly, via the activities of 3R project, we will instill the good habits of taking care of the planet in children. Kids will learn about the importance of protecting the environment and understand the so-called ‘green’ environment, or why we would need it.
Let’s wait and see what this exciting activity at Kindy City International Preschool will be. We are looking forward to parents’ support to the 3Rs Project of our Kindy City-zens
