According to a recent study from a British detergent company, out of 12,000 parents around the world, children today are less likely to participate in physical activities. Only 1 out of 3 children spend 30 minutes a day on outdoor activities.
Children gradually turn their back on outdoor activities. Research has shown that 74% of children spend less than 60 minutes per day on outdoor activities, while 18% of them stay indoors. Most parents agree that children today have less opportunity to participate in outdoor activities than previous generations.

While keeping in mind the expectations of the parents, the students’ specific needs, mental age of the children, as well as teaching principles, Kindy City International Preschool launched a learning project in the topic of EXERCISE during the month of August.
This learning project encourages children to explore and understand the importance of physical exercise. Exercise helps develop physical and mental abilities, brings positive feelings, confidence, and creates a healthy lifestyle for children. Also, exercise increases the metabolism and circulation, which is important as blood carries oxygen and nutrients to cells all over the body. Overall, exercise makes the body stronger. Regularly participating in sport activities helps strengthen the cardiovascular system, which physically and mentally improves their health. Their concentration is also increased, which helps in their studies.
Teachers at KINDY CITY especially apply the scientific knowledge, combined with the “Learn through Play” method. This helps the children raise their basic knowledge in the body parts, as well as create happy moments for children through exercising.
KINDY CITY International Preschool warmly invites all parents to be a part of the interactive activities between teachers and students. By giving any necessary support for the EXERCISE project, KINDY CITY citizens will get the best from it.
